There will be a free Swing lesson at 7:30pm and then dancing to the music of the Danny Hartzer Orchestra from 8:00-11:00pm. We are a private dance club. Dances can include Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Cha Cha, Mambo, and Polka as well as others. The elegance of the ballroom and music is reflected by the members who attend wearing evening attire — evening or cocktail wear for women and dinner jacket, tuxedo, or business suit for men. Founded in 1934, the Fall of 2011 marks the beginning of the Red Friars' 78th year as a club. Red Friars Dance Club was incorporated as a non-profit corporation on February 12, 1991.
