Related LinksClub 76 Dance Club 76 is a non-profit organization focused on the enjoyment of ballroom dancing and the recreation it provides. Dances are held monthly, on the second Friday night, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Music is provided by a DJ. All events are held at the Northside Center, at the intersection of 2nd Ave and Euclid Ave, Des Moines, Iowa, unless noted otherwise. Walk-in guests are welcome. The ISU Ballroom Dance Club The ISU Ballroom Dance Club offers dance classes, as well as a Friday night social/practice. The club also hosts special dances and parties for holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. The classes are taught by professional dance instructors, as well as the club officers and advanced club dancers. The classes offer instructions on beginner, intermediate and advanced levels for Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Swing, Latin (Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha) and many others. The Iowa State University Ballroom Dance Company (BDCo) is a university-sanctioned student organization and a member of the Sports Club Council. The organization is funded through GSB and company membership dues. Though composed primarily of ISU students and staff, anyone is encouraged to join. The main objective of the BDCo is to promote Ballroom Dancing on the ISU campus and in the Ames area. This is accomplished through offering lessons at various levels, by attending workshops and competitions, and by sponsoring their own dances and workshops. Valerie Williams – Ames, Iowa. Lake Robbins Ballroom Known For The Finest Dance Floor In Iowa Big Band music every Sunday evening. Lake Robbins Ballroom was inducted into the Iowa Rock'n Roll Music Association Hall Of Fame in September, 2007.
